Buprenorphine

Buprenorphine eases discomfort. It is the active ingredient in Suboxone, preventing withdrawal symptoms from occurring by filling the brain’s opioids receptors without producing the same high as opiates. This makes it more difficult to abuse than other forms of medication-assisted treatment, such as methadone.
