Dr. Levin has been a physician for over 30 years. Originally trained in pediatrics, and still working in that field, they fell in love with addiction medicine as a modality to treat opiate use disorder in 2014. They were asked to help a friend fill in for a retiring colleague for a few months in a methadone clinic in Pinehurst, NC. After seeing some of their patients get better almost overnight, she felt she could continue to provide this needed and valuable type of care. After almost 6 years as medical director of various methadone clinics for the Acadia Health, Dr. Levin has branched off on their own to start a Suboxone clinic in Winston-Salem. Their passion for this type of medical care and their compassion for their patients is evident in all they do.
